In case of emergencies out of regular office hours, dial the hospital number 613-925-5909 and you will be instructed to leave a message for the doctor who is on call.
Your pet's health is important to us, and while we hope your pet remains in good health, emergencies happen. The veterinarians at Prescott Animal Hospital, Brockville Animal Hospital, Island City Animal Hospital rotate evening and week-ends on call in case your pet has an emergency. After 8pm at night, and in special cases, we refer emergencies to:

They are fully equipped to handle any emergency your pet may have and their specially trained staff is there all night to provide continuous monitoring and intensive care.
We are also proud to offer after-hours emergency veterinary triage to our clients through video telehealth services. The VetTriage veterinarians will provide the same level of quality care you receive during normal business hours. They will triage your pet to assess if you are facing an emergency that requires an immediate visit to the veterinary hospital. If you do not need to come in, they will provide home care and monitoring instructions. In the event you need immediate assistance, VetTriage will coordinate your visit with the on-call veterinarian.
