Dr. Gabriela Paez- Espinosa

Dr. Gabriela Paez was born and raised in Ecuador, where she earned her Veterinary Medicine degree from Universidad San Francisco de Quito in 2020. Following graduation, she moved to Texas to complete a rotating internship at an equine referral hospital, followed by a fellowship year, expanding her knowledge and experience in advanced veterinary care.

Dr. Paez joined the Prescott Animal Hospital team in 2024 and enjoys working with both large and small animal patients. Her professional interests include preventative medicine, integrative pain management, and helping patients achieve the best possible quality of life. She has completed specialized training in Medical Acupuncture for Veterinarians in both large and small animals through CuraCore Academy in Colorado, allowing her to offer additional options for pain management and patient comfort.

Fluent in both Spanish and English, Dr. Paez also speaks French and a little Portuguese, helping her connect with a diverse range of clients and colleagues. Her warm personality, dedication to lifelong learning, and compassionate approach make her a valued member of the PAH team.

Outside of work, Dr. Paez enjoys baking, traveling, and learning new languages. She lives with her partner, John, and their two young cats, Sydney and Melbourne.
