New Additions!

November 2011 - We would like to welcome Dr. Greg Parks to the team.

October 2011 - On October 14, our brand new Large Animal Surgery and Treatment Facility was inspected and passed accreditation with the College of Veterinarians of Ontario.

September 2011 - We would like to extend our congratulations to Dr. Snyder and her husband Jon on the birth of their son Quinlin Ash. Born September 28, 2011, weighing 8 lbs.

August 2011 - We would like to welcome Tanya Storr to the team, and also say goodbye and good luck to Kaylee as she leaves us to start school at St. Lawrence College to begin the Veterinary Technician course. Kaylee will continue to work on Saturdays for the school year.

July 2011 - We would like to welcome Kathleen Lindquist and Tania Potvin to the team.

June 2011- New at The Prescott Animal Hospital! We are now offering PUPPY KINDERGARTEN. Any puppy 12 weeks of age or older are welcome. Please inquire at the front desk or call clinic (613)925-5909 for more information.


May 2011- We would like to extend our congratulations to Dr. Knoepfli and her husband John on the birth of their son Peter John. He was born May 12, 2011, weighing 7lbs, 13oz.

April 2011- We would like to welcome Dr. Napke to the practice. She will be joining the team from April to June 2011, while Dr. Knoepfli is on maternity leave.

New Construction at our Prescott office!
We are pleased to announce we have broken ground for our new large animal surgery and treatment facility. Expected to be completed by summer 2011.
The purpose of this new facility is to allow us the opportunity to bring horses into the hospital for a range of procedures, inlcuding:

Intensive care - Colic, Potomac Horse Fever, Eye Ulcers, Wound Management.
Surgery - Castrations, Hernias, Fractured Splint Bone Removal, Lump Removal.
Lameness Evaluations - Digital Radiography, Ultrasound, Gait Analysis, Joint Injections.
Reproduction - Ultrasound Evaluation, Fresh and Frozen Insemination.
Pre-Purchase Examination
Routine Procedures - Dental Power Floating, Vaccinations, In-House Laboratory Testing.

We would like to extend our congratulations to Dr. Pia Gamberg and her husband Tony on the birth of their son Simon Alexander Desnoo. He was born August 18, 2010, weighing 5lbs, 12oz and was 18 3/4 inches long. A little brother for Anna!!

Also we would like to extend our congratulations to Dr. Heather Aitken and her husband Harold on the arrival of their daughter Elisa Jane Ready. She was born December 3, 2010, weighing 7lbs, 7oz and was 19 inches long. A little sister for Luke!!
