Dr. J.B. Billett

Jerome grew up in Bowmanville, Ontario. While studying at the Ontario Veterinary College, he met and married his wife Janice Harrower. They both graduated in 1976 and moved to Eastern Ontario where they have been practicing veterinary medicine ever since. As the co-founder of Prescott Animal Hospital, Jerome has grown and developed the practice which has now become the Prescott Animal Hospital/Rideau-St. Lawrence organization. After more than 35 years in veterinary practice, Jerome is still an active and integral member of the team. He particularly enjoys practice management, and small animal medicine and surgery. While he turned over his truck keys to younger, more able associates in 2006, he still misses the farm visits he enjoyed for over 30 years. With his wife Janice, Jerome has raised 4 children, and now enjoys the time he gets to spend with his 2 grandchildren, Margaret and James. He loves to boat, play hockey, the guitar, and fix things.
