Dr. J. L. Harrower

Dr. Janice Harrower hales from Northern Ontario where from an early age her life revolved around her dogs, horses and bunnies. While attending the Ontario Veterinary College she met and married her life and business partner Dr. Jerome Billett. They moved to Eastern Ontario upon graduation and have lived and practiced here since 1976. While raising and launching four children their combined focus has been the growth and development of the Prescott Animal Hospital. After thirty odd years of practicing veterinary medicine, Janice particularly enjoys continuing education conferences, bring home the challenge of improved and better service to our patients and their owners. She is particularly passionate about attracting and retaining good staff members by providing a work environment that is challenging, fulfilling and a while lot of fun. Now enjoying a reduced work schedule she fills more hours with gardening and boating in the summer, skiing in the winter and when possible, taking long awaited travel opportunities. Molly is currently the only pet in their home because of family allergies.
