Over the years the Prescott Animal Hospital has evolved from a single person rural practice to its current multi-veterinarian facility.

In 1976 Dr. Jerome Billett and his wife Dr. Janice Harrower purchased the 14 year old practice, located between Johnstown and Cardinal, from Dr. H.R Johnston and renamed it the River Road Animal Hospital. A new hospital was built in 1987 at the present location and named the Prescott Animal Hospital.

The Prescott Animal Hospital provides outpatient and in-hospital service for dogs, cats, birds, pocket pets and small exotic pets. Our small animal services include a range of preventive care programs for every life stage of your pet including kitten and puppy wellness, dental, coat health and weight management programs. In addition we provide diagnostic capabilities for blood and urine testing, radiology, ultrasonography and tissue biopsy for unwell patients. Our surgeons perform a wide variety of spay and neuter, soft tissue, dental and orthopedic procedures adapted to most requirements.
